This case involves a patient seeking correction of nasal irregularities and excessive length following a previous rhinoplasty performed 12 years prior, which included osteotomy and ear cartilage grafting. The patient’s goals were to achieve a smoother nasal bridge, reduce the overall length of the nose, and create a more natural appearance.
Surgical Approach:
A comprehensive rhinoplasty was performed utilizing rib cartilage grafting. The specifics of each rhinoplasty are highly individualized to meet the patient’s unique anatomy and aesthetic goals. In this instance, the procedure also addressed a deviated septum.
Outcome:
The patient experienced improvement in the smoothness and symmetry of the nasal bridge, as well as a reduction in the perceived length of the nose. The overall outcome aimed for a natural and harmonious appearance.
