Problem / Baseline
This patient sought revision rhinoplasty at our clinic after multiple prior surgeries had resulted in several complications. Pre-operative assessment revealed severe damage to the nasal septum cartilage, an upturned (up-nose) appearance, pinched nasal tip, uneven nasal tip cartilage, and asymmetry of the nostrils. The patient also had a history of allergic reaction to Alloderm used in a previous procedure.
Surgical Approach
Given the complexity of the case and the patient’s history, a comprehensive rhinoplasty approach was required. The specific details of the procedure were individualized to address the unique challenges presented by the patient’s anatomy and prior surgical outcomes. The surgery was a full rhinoplasty to address all nasal deformities and internal structural damage.
Outcome / Improvement
This patient achieved an improved nasal appearance and function. While the specifics of each case vary, our goal is always to create natural-looking results that are in harmony with the patient’s overall facial features.
