Closed Rhinoplasty Korea + Bumpy and Deviated Nose (Self-rib Cartilage)

1. Preoperative Consultation

This patient visited my clinic to correct a deviated, bumpy and wide nose. From the front the nose looked considerably wide, the nostrils were very visible and the base of the nose was broad.

2. Surgery Plan

The plan was to cut the shape of the nasal bone through an outer osteotomy, and to use the self-rib cartilage in the nose tip to make it taller, and also I planned to perform a nasal base reduction to reduce the width of the base.

4. General Overview

This was the correction of a bumpy and deviated nasal bone. By delicately cutting the nasal bone and performing an outer osteotomy it is possible to correct the wide and deviated parts. Especially, in the case that the nasal bone needs to be grind significantly, it requires using a silicone implant on the nasal dorsum.
